As an NGO in General Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council, UPF New Zealand actively supports the 17 Sustainable Development Goals — working towards a world of peace, dignity, and shared prosperity for all.

Interfaith Peacebuilding
Interreligious councils provide a platform for people of diverse faiths to contribute their wisdom and work effectively for peace alongside governments and civil society.
Peace and Security
Pursuing diplomatic solutions through "track two" diplomacy, with emphasis on the role of religious and spiritual leaders to transcend historical divisions.
United Nations Relations
As an NGO in General Consultative Status with the UN ECOSOC, UPF supports the United Nations and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Marriage and Family
Marriage, parenting, and the family are the foundations of sustainable human development. We promote a marriage-friendly culture and teach relationship skills.
Education & Human Development
Leadership conferences and seminars focusing on the urgent need for new vision based on core values, universal principles of peacebuilding, and character education.
Humanitarian & Youth Programs
Service-learning programmes that bring together youth from different cultures and religions to promote mutual understanding and serve communities in need.
